Studio 208 Animation

Studio 208 Animation is a collective of students and professionals working nonstop toward a singular vision, to become the best of the best. Each member brings their own unique style, set of skills, and personality.  Studio 208  rose from the ashes of room 208 at the Art Institute of Indianapolis.  There, Rescue Party was pitched and brought to life by this incredible crew of artists.

Jon Sheldon

Jon sheldon

PRODUCTION DESIGNER

Jon is an animation junky, educator, and earned a Master’s Degree in Media Arts and Sciences from Indiana University. His love of Pixar's animated shorts and classic sci-fi inspired him to found Studio 208 and write Rescue Party. Jon refuses to believe in no win scenarios, thinks creatively, and acts boldly. 

Patrick Ballido-Choy

Patrick Bellido-Choy

3D ARTIST

A really easy-going dude who loves working on anything 3D. He has a drive for knowledge and is always looking to pursue projects that will test his skills and teach him something new in the process. His passions are metal, anime, Chipotle, and hot sauce. Patrick’s contributions include hard surface modeling and layout.

Jordan Harrison

JORDAN HARRISON

CHARACTER DESIGN

Jordan is a 2D general artist specializing in illustrative work. In 2018, they finished their studies in Media Arts and Animation at the Art Institute of Indianapolis. Jordan has worked on various elements of previsualization including character design and the animatic. Jordan is currently working on the social media campaign.

Matt is all things metal, always looking for the next challenge, and never afraid to try something new or take on a task beyond his current abilities. Matt never fails to bring a unique perspective to development meetings. His passion for animation is evident in his work ethic and serves as a hard surface modeler for Rescue Party.

Kaeli Villarreal

KAELI VILLARREAL

CHARACTER DESIGN

Kaeli is a creative storyboard and concept artist with a versatile style. They coordinate with the Studio 208 team to bring a visually fun and compelling story to Rescue Party. Kaeli continues to study and improve their Media Arts skills, aiming to create appealing and immersive worlds for others to enjoy.

Michaela Yourgans

MicHAela Yourgans

3D ARTIST

Driven and focused, Michaela is a passionate artist who loves learning. Her love for creating characters knows no bounds and she is always excited to bring them to life through illustrations and in 3D. Her abilities extend beyond characters as she enjoys stretching her other skills by doing everything from building props in Maya, to focusing on studies so she can constantly improve.

Taylor is an ambitious animator and illustrator who crash landed on earth back in ‘96. He has a Bachelor's degree in Media Arts and Animation from the Art Institute of Indianapolis. Taylor’s versatile skill, set unique style, and quirky personality keeps him equipped to handle any animated film project thrown his way.

CONCEPT ARTIST

Derrick is a concept artist and illustrator. His love for world building is the creative fuel behind his art. He earned a Bachelor's degree in Media Arts and Animation in 2018 at the Art of Institute of Indianapolis. Derrick’s main roles include concept art, environment design, hard surface modeling, scene layout, and UVing.

Silvia Lawson-Vilches

LIGHTING & TEXTURE ARTIST

Fueled by a lifelong passion for the visual and the enlightening, Silvia is both a 2D and 3D artist enamored with the process of bringing never-before-seen projects to life. She is constantly seeking to challenge her technical and artistic abilities as a primary 3D lighter and visual artist  for animated works and beyond. 

Jordan Proffitt-Hilbert

JORDAN PROFFITT-HILBERT

3D ARTIST

Rooted in traditional art, Jordan is an adaptive and detail-oriented artist. Her skills vary from 2D illustration to 3D modeling. She contributed to the core character design of Rescue Party. Jordan continues to work in multiple areas of the project such as character modeling, prop modeling, concepting, and texturing.

CONCEPT ARTIST

Michaela is a motivated, detail-oriented 2D generalist with a range from stylized to realism. Her passion is a blend of traditional art and cartoons that has evolved into what she brings to life. She is always experimenting in art to broaden her abilities and learn new techniques as she continues her journey.
